Crafted by hand in Sydney.The AEJL Bespoke design service begins with a conversation about what you want to transform into jewellery, an idea, a gift or a memory. Through careful exploration into your personal style and vision, we design and meticulously craft a piece that is entirely yours and intended to last a lifetime.
The Process
1. Consultation
We begin with your idea. You can bring existing stones or jewellery to be transformed, or we can source ethical materials that reflect your vision. Together, we explore design, symbolism, scale, and wear.
2. Design Development
Sketches and digital renders bring the concept into view. This stage is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced to ensure every detail feels right. We work together to tinker and finesse every detail so the piece feels right.
3. Craftsmanship
Your piece is handcrafted in our Sydney workshop with precision using responsibly sourced precious metals and stones. Your piece will be made by our jewellers and set by our master setters all located in Sydney, Australia.
4. Presentation
Your jewellery is presented in AEJL’s signature packaging. A piece made to be worn is also a piece to be treasured and passed forward.
Transforming Existing Gold and Stones
Sentimental materials carry history. We can melt down and rework your existing gold, and set your stones into a new form that continues the legacy of the original. Careful assessment will determine suitability for the new design.
Personal archive
Bespoke jewellery becomes part of your personal archive. It holds the evidence of who you are captured in a form the future can hold. Create your personal history, or gift the story it carries.
